Ticket sales remain strong for the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival, which now features two bands with #1 debuts this summer: Disturbed and Avenged Sevenfold. Multi-platinum headliner Disturbed entered the "Billboard 200" album chart at #1 last week with sales of 179,000 copies for their new CD Asylum. This marks Disturbed's fourth consecutive studio release to debut at #1, a feat achieved by only two other rock bands in the history of the chart: Metallica and Dave Matthews Band.

Multi-platinum co-headliner Avenged Sevenfold also held the #1 spot on the "Billboard 200" album chart just a few weeks ago with their new CD Nightmare. Their "Nightmare" single has also been #1 at rock radio for the three straight weeks.

In addition, the UPROAR main stage features 3-time Grammy nominees Stone Sour, who just released their Audio Secrecy CD September 7, following their gold-certified Come What(ever) May album which debuted at #4 on the "Billboard 200" album chart.

"In a difficult touring environment, ticket sales for the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival have been strong," says tour producer John Reese. "We are proving that if you put on a great show for a fair price, people will come."

Meanwhile, the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival has teamed with FX for the "Sons Of Anarchy Takeover" at the September 25 UPROAR show at White River Amphitheatre near Seattle. This special UPROAR show will be hosted by Sons Of Anarchy cast members Charlie Hunnam ("Jax"), Mark Boone Junior ("Bobby"), Tommy Flanagan ("Chibs") and Theo Rossi ("Juice").

Now in its third season, the FX original series Sons Of Anarchy returned last week and airs Tuesdays at 10pm ET/PT. Sons Of Anarchy is an adrenalized drama with darkly comedic undertones. The weekly series is about a notorious outlaw motorcycle club intent on protecting their sheltered small town of Charming, California against encroaching drug dealers, corporate developers and overzealous law officers.

In connection with the UPROAR "Sons Of Anarchy Takeover," FX partnered with various radio stations across the U.S. for the "Hogs and Hard Rock" promotion, giving away trips to the September 25 Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival "Sons Of Anarchy Takeover." Each winner (and their guest) will UPROAR round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, premium tickets to UPROAR and backstage passes for a private BBQ with the bands and Sons Of Anarchy cast members.
