About The Winery Dogs

It would be easy to call The Winery Dogs a supergroup: vocalist and guitarist Richie Kotzen made his mark with Mr. Big, bassist Billy Sheehan has been rocking for decades with Steve Vai, David Lee Roth, Mr. Big and others, and drummer Mike Portnoy was the co-founder of progressive metal superstars Dream Theater. But The Winery Dogs are so much more than a supergroup. The Winery Dogs are a cohesive, well-rounded classic-sounding trio with blazing songs that defy expectation. The group's self-titled debut is filled with straightforward rock and roll inspired by some of their favorite bands, and their music transcends any of the styles they're best known for.

About Dave Wood

Versatile guitarist/producer Dave Wood has performed with Jessie J, Jonathan Butler, Sabrina Carpenter, Jesse McCartney, David Archuleta, Marie' Digby, Andra Day, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Taylor Hicks, Gladys Knight, and Hilary Duff. His credits include numerous TV performances such as The Tonight Show, MTV Video Music Awards, Ellen, Dancing with the Stars, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Today Show, Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve and more. Dave's innovative guitar work can be heard in many film trailers such as The Day the Earth Stood Still, Kill the Irishman and Final Destination 5. A Berklee College of Music graduate, Dave spent seven years in New York City honing his craft with artists like Norah Jones and Liquid Ensemble. In 2003, he started Music Evolutions Inc. to house his music studio/publishing company and quickly began composing original compositions for Paramount TV. Dave penned his instructional book The Secret Guitar Method in 2004 for aspiring guitarists. Since 2007, Dave and Mike Bennett (aka 'The Structure') have been collaborating as a full service production team running Music Evolutions Studios in Los Angeles. Their own custom built studio has been hugely successful with state of the art acoustics designed for live drums, vocals and string ensembles. The Structure's hard work has earned production credits with top artists as well as national/international placements of their original music and custom scoring. TV credits include NBC, ABC, Discovery Channel, TLC, VH1 and Spike TV.

About Dylan Wilson

As a bassist, Dylan Wilson has toured, recorded and made TV appearances with a staggering variety of musical acts including such artists as Richie Kotzen, John 5, Greyson Chance, Sheila E., Alex Band (the Calling), Phil X (Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper), David Pack (Ambrosia), 16 Frames, Save Ferris, Anahi (RBD), Aline Barros and countless others. Dylan balances a wide breadth of styles on both the upright and electric basses, is a top call for sessions and is regarded as the "go to" bass player for many artists.

About John Moyer

John Moyer is the bassist for heavy metal band Disturbed. Prior to joining Disturbed, Moyer played in rock bands The Union Underground and Soak, both major label acts hailing from Texas. Having joined Disturbed in 2004, John's playing can be heard on the band's third (Ten Thousand Fists), fourth (Indestructible) and fifth (Asylum) studio albums. All three albums debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and between them they produced eight No. 1 singles on rock radio. John also played on the last Disturbed release, The Lost Children, a collection of B-sides and rarities. Disturbed was nominated for a Grammy Award for their song "Inside The Fire" off the album Indestructible. John is also the owner of Natural Ear Music Rock School in Austin, TX. His award-winning school has a long history in Austin of teaching music and performance skills to young rockers and of turning out a number of professional musicians in the process. As a producer, John works with independent rock and metal bands. In 2011, John released a bass instructional video titled Modern Metal Bass for Rock House Publishing.

About Mike Bennett

An innovative and progressive musician, Mike Bennett continues to emerge as one of the nation's top drummers and percussionists. His tremendous musicality and onstage charisma has led DRUM! Magazine to call him, "a full fledged chameleon, showing restraint or blasting chops when called for, with a clean sound, metronomic feel, and a distinctly melodic soloing style." Modern Drummer agrees, saying that Bennett is, "on the fast track…a versatile drummer who is building a reputation as one of L.A.'s finest." Able to easily cross many contemporary and world genres, Bennett has performed on either drum kit and/or percussion with artists such as Hilary Duff, Benise, Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band and many others on stages around the globe. He has also made many television appearances on programs such as The Tonight Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Good Morning America, The Today Show and many more. Off stage, Bennett is an in-demand producer, programmer and sound designer. Co-Owner of Music Evolutions Productions, he continues to produce and compose music for artists, television, radio and film around the world. He has also authored the Demystifying Drumming book series and continues to present clinics and workshops around the world.
