CATHOUSE LIVE AT IRVINE MEADOWS
PRESENTED BY SIRIUSXM HAIR NATION
UNITES ROCK FANS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE
AT AUGUST 15 CELEBRATION OF
RIKI RACHTMAN'S WORLD FAMOUS CATHOUSE
IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA

Rock fans traveled from around the world and from various parts of the U.S. to be a part of Cathouse Live At Irvine Meadows presented by SiriusXM Hair Nation last Saturday, August 15 at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre in Southern California. The day-long rock festival celebrated Riki Rachtman's World Famous Cathouse with band performances on two stages, artist signings, VIP Meet and Greets, a vendor village, a chopper motorcycle show, and go-go dancers.

Cathouse Live featured performances from some of the defining rock artists of the '80s and '90s, including Gilby Clarke's All-Star Jam featuring Ace Frehley, Sebastian Bach (ex-Skid Row), Taime Downe (Faster Pussycat), Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme), Phil Lewis (L.A. Guns), Brent Muscat (Sin City Sinners, ex-Faster Pussycat), Chip Z'Nuff (Enuff Z'Nuff), Evan Seinfeld (Attika7, Biohazard), Michael Starr (Steel Panther), and Brent Fitz (Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators).

The lineup also included sets from Extreme, Cinderella's Tom Keifer, Sebastian Bach, Dokken, Faster Pussycat (including an on-stage reunion with some original band members), Stephen Pearcy (the voice of RATT), Saigon Kick, Gilby Clarke, Dangerous Toys, L.A. Guns, Junkyard, Trixter, Autograph, Black 'N Blue, Tracii Guns, Enuff Z'Nuff, BulletBoys, Bang Tango, Jetboy, Pretty Boy Floyd, Tuff, Little Caesar, Swamphammer and The Aviators.

The press had lots of praise for the festival, as noted below:

"…with Rachtman's well-curated killer lineup of Cathouse regulars (Skid Row's Sebastian Bach, Cinderella's Tom Keifer, Jetboy, Junkyard, Enuff Z' Nuff, Gilby Clarke, and of course Faster Pussycat, among others), it was easy to feel transported back in time to the big '80s era of big riffs and big hair."

—Lyndsey Parker, Yahoo! Music, August 17, 2015

"…the highlight for many festival goers was the all-star jam that included such star players as Sebastian Bach, Ace Frehley, Gilby Clarke, Evan Seinfeld, Michael Starr, Nuno Bettencourt and Phil Lewis."

—Chad Childers, Loudwire.com, August 17, 2015

"A love of '80s hair metal was the only requisite for having a good time Saturday night as fans of all ages descended upon Irvine Meadows for Riki Rachtman's Cathouse Live."

—Philip Cosores, Orange County Register, August 16, 2015

"This juxtaposition of bands and music was nothing short of brilliance and we can only hope Rachtman will bring this back again and again to connect more and more fans as well as bring new fans to the world of Cathouse."

—Laura De Gaetano, Screamer Magazine, August 18, 2015

Here's some of what Sebastian Bach posted on Instagram about his experience playing at Cathouse Live:

"An open letter to Southern California:
I am still on a high from Saturday's show at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre. It's hard for me to put into words what this day meant to all of us. During our show there were moments when all the lighters were lit up, sorry I mean all the cell phones were lit up, because it's 2015 now. As far as the eye could see. It's always a breathtaking, beautiful vibe. The first time I played Irvine Meadows was 1989 with Bon Jovi…At the end of the night [at Cathouse Live] we got to shred 'Deuce' w Ace Frehley & the rock n' roll circle was complete. The crowd packed out the place and made us feel so special we cannot thank you enough. We will never forget Saturday!!!! Thanks to John Reese & Riki Rachtman & the bands & crew for throwing the party!! I only hope we can do it again sometime at the Cathouse LIVE!!! Southern California you made our set a night we will never forget!!!"

Sponsors for Cathouse Live At Irvine Meadows included SiriusXM Hair Nation, Monster Energy, COLDCOCK American Herbal Flavored Whiskey, and The Slidebar Rock-N-Roll Kitchen.
